The gathering location can be a store located in Queenstown, or you can drive to BASE. Once selected, you must strictly follow the predetermined gathering location. Late arrival will be considered as NO SHOW, and no changes or refunds will be made. Please be aware!

Q: What should I wear?
A: We suggest that you choose suitable clothing based on the weather conditions. One thing to remember is that when the speedboat is flying, the wind can blow colder, especially in winter. Although our handrails are heated, please still pay attention to wearing warm clothes. Ski equipment, hats, and gloves are very useful in winter! Don't forget to wear sunglasses and apply sunscreen during summer.
Q: What is the minimum age limit? Can children board speedboats without a guardian?
A: All children must be at least 1 meter tall to board the ship. According to the river and weather conditions on that day, Shotover Jet has the right to adjust the minimum height of children. The minimum height can be raised to 1.2 meters to ensure maximum passenger safety.
Children aged 10-15 can board the ship alone, but guardians must accompany them on site. Children under the age of 10 need to be accompanied by a paid adult on board.
Q: Where can I store my belongings?
A: We have a lockable storage cabinet at the boarding point, so you can rest assured to store your items here before boarding.
Q: Can I bring a camera/camcorder?
A: We warmly welcome bringing a camera to Shotover Jet because the scenery here is charming, so if you take many wonderful photos from our observation deck! However, for safety reasons, there is a high chance that your various devices on the speedboat will get splashed. For the safety of you and other guests, we do not allow personal cameras, cameras, and mobile phones to be carried on board.
